Congratulations on being selected as part of our nation-wide Hispanic Success interview!! Your career is well worth modeling and that is exactly what we plan to do. This section will acquaint you with the purpose of the interview, it's objectives and the specific questions you can expect to be asked. We recognize your time is limited and valuable, and we want to be sure you are comfortable as you are interviewed. At the same time, we want to recognize the importance of your input in the book. High potential, upward mobile, younger leaders will be anxious to learn from you so your thoughts are extremely valuable.
Purpose
The interview is designed to serve a specific purpose; to document the personal strategies, techniques and thought patterns that helped Hispanic professionals achieve the success they now enjoy. You are likely to be asked about your beliefs, values, attitudes and specific 'defining' moves you made in your career. Of course, you will be given these benefits before anything is published:
1. A complete transcript of the interview;
2. A look at how you will be quoted - for approval;
3. One signed book.
Specific Questions
Once your professional information is obtained, i.e. complete name, title, employer, etc., these questions will be asked:
1. Do you believe it is necessary to have a dedicated Hispanic Leadership Development program at your organization?

3. Regarding your personal success; what do you have to believe about yourself in order to reach and remain in your current position?
4. What are the three most important values that you are aware of – regarding your professional life? (What is most important to you about your professional life?)
5. What do you think STOPS high potential Hispanic leaders from obtaining a C Level/Executive position?
6. What could high potential Hispanic leaders do to help them secure a C Level/Executive appointment/position?
7. Are there any cultural differences high potential Hispanic executives should be aware of, that would help move forward in their organization?
8. What recommendations do you have for younger leaders to help them move forward in their careers?
9. Do you have any words of encouragement for up and coming, high potential Hispanic leaders?
